Brush seater/commutator stone. To seat new brushes, run this stone over the surface of the commutator with the motor running. The abrasive from the stone will stick to the commutator, wearing down the brushes to match the shape of the commutator. Clean the commutator with compressed air to remove the abrasive when done.
