Remote Programming
Resetting the remote control - The remote transmitter is preprogrammed with 1 of 80 different codes. If the battery on the remote has been replaced or you get a new remote, it is necessary to reprogram the receiver. There are 2 steps: Erasing the old code, and setting the new one. If you purchased a second remote, you can set the receiver for this one without erasing the existing code to allow both remotes to be used. Both procedures must be done with the machine plugged in, the circuit breaker switch on, and the remote/manual selector switch in the up (remote) position.
To erase the old code - There is a small hole on the side corner of the motor cabinet. This allows access to the program button on the remote receiver. Use a blunt tool that fits through the hole to push the program button. PUSH LIGHTLY! You should hear the receiver beep. Hold on the button for 3-4 s..
