Heavy Duty coupling for Buffers
Used between the motor armature and gearbox.
Original on some buffers and universal upgrade for most buffers with the rubberized coupling.
Used with buffers that are sanding with a hard plate or with the UFO.
Sometime called the shear pin.

Fits almost all floor buffers with 3/4hp, 1hp, 1-1/2hp motors including: American Sanders RS 16TH, RS16DC, Sander 1600, Sander 1600DC, Sander 16, Mastercraft, Mercury, Bona, Clarke, Advance, Nilfisk, Hawk, etc.
Does not fit FM series buffers - use BF06 instead
